Jasson Domínguez made New York Yankees history.

In Friday night’s 10-2 win over the A’s in West Sacramento, Domínguez became the youngest player in franchise history to hit three home runs in a game, according to MLB stat guru Sarah Langs.

Domínguez is 22 years and 91 days old.

The switch-hitting Domínguez struck a solo home run off of right-handed A’s starter Osvaldo Bido in the third inning; a solo shot against left-hander Hogan Harris in the seventh; and a grand slam off of right-hander Elvis Alvarado in the eighth.

Domínguez also contributed a fifth-inning sacrifice fly as part of a seven-RBI game, which set a career high.

The grand slam was the first of Domínguez’s career, while his home run against Harris marked his first as a right-handed hitter. It was the first multi-homer game of the rookie outfielder’s career.

Domínguez entered Friday with two home runs in 104 at-bats this season. He now has five after Friday’s 3-for-4 performance.

That offense came in support of another rookie in Yankees starter Will Warren, who held the A’s to one run over 71/3 innings with seven strikeouts to pick up his second career victory.
